Community Services took your child.
You must go to Court.
Step 1 of your Court case
The magistrate must work out
Was Community Services right to say
- your child was not safe
and - take your child away?
or
Was Community Services wrong?
The Court want to know what you think.
Tell your lawyer what you think.
Your lawyer will tell the Court.

This step at Court is called Establishment.
You have 3 choices.
- You say yes.
Community Services were right.
You agree your child- was not safe
- needs to be in a different home.
When you say yes.
You go to Step 2 of your Court case.

- You say yes
But
You do not agree with all the things Community Services say.
This is called agree without admissions.
Most parents say this.

and
- does not need to live in a different home.
